Candy Man by lasae abyss
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi
Warnings: au, m/m voyeurism and exhibitionism, slight m/f
Summary: Great, he thought in tones that verged on the hysterical. Two months of work and all he had to show for it was a plated pyramid and a voyeur in his mirror. When Yuugi completes the Sennin Puzzle Yami is unable to possess him. Instead, he's imprisoned in a nearby mirror.
>>: This is just a little rough, but the author obviously put a lot of work into it. It's a nice, occasionally very steamy story in which Yami can neither touch nor speak to Yuugi but they still come to care for each other very much.

Of Gods and Men by RogueMoon
Rating: PG
Pairing: gen
Warnings: crossover, incomplete
Summary: “It was the most amazing game I've ever seen played. If Heru'ur had been half the strategist that boy was, he wouldn't have lost his attempted coup.
“To win the game, a player must take out his opponents' lead piece. In a straight out fistfight, Atemu wouldn't have lasted past the first blow. Not against Horus Guard. Atemu knew this and upped the stakes of the game just before it started. He said that he would concede defeat if any of Heru'ur's pieces came within three squares of him. The Jaffa never came close and the game was over in five turns. Heru'ur was unconscious on the floor and about to take a killing blow from my best warrior when Atemu called him off, saying that ‘they need not kill the lead to win, only capture it.’”
Mnevis looked Hammond in the eyes, “If Atemu had lived to serve Ra, I firmly believe you would still be under the System Lords' rule.”

SG-1 goes to Egypt to investigate a claim that the Ishtars are being controlled by aliens. Turns out it's true—just not quite in the way they'd expected.
>>: Good crossovers are rare, so I was pleasantly surprised by this. This is a pretty all around average fic—decent writing, coherent plot, believable if somewhat (understandably) OOC characterization; this is a decent story. Yu-Gi-Oh!/SG-1 crossover.

Fumbling Towards Ecstasy by Edmondia Dantes
Rating: R
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi
Warnings: m/m, one-shot
Summary: It all started with trig homework.
>>: Yuugi's confused; Yami's…not. Cute and sexy.

Girl Troubles by S. Wright
Rating: R
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi, one sided Yuugi/OC and Yuugi/Kaiba
Warnings: m/m, wip
Summary: After losing a duel to a stranger Yuugi finds himself being haunted by a malevolent spirit with a grudge against Yami. Oh, and he's female now. Someone is going to pay…
>>: This could use a lot of betaing, and…well, there are a lot of things I don't like about it. But it has a lot of redeeming qualities (and I'm a sucker for dark!possessive!Yami and pretty!Yuugi), so I really enjoyed reading this.

Faust by Ryuujitsu !
Rating: R
Pairing: Bakura/Ryou, Marik/Malik, Kaiba/Jounouchi, Otogi/various, Yami/Yuugi, others
Warnings: au, m/m, dubious consent, wip
Summary: The underworld has a way of seducing people, making it so they never want to leave again. You're falling for the trick. Don't. Get away while you still can, and remember that there are some that you can't take away. A tale of magic, passion, and eternal damnnation. Ryou is a human who traded his soul in to help a friend, Malik sold his to be with his demonic lover, Yuugi's an angel trapped in Hell, and Jou's been kidnapped by an ambitious ice demon in need of a pawn. Yeah, they're all damned. But so long as their respective companions are there with them, an eternity in the Underworld might not be so bad. Of course, with Hell being torn apart by a civil war and Angelic search parties invading it to look for the missing angel, 'eternity' might not be as long as they'd hoped...
>>: This story is a little rough around the edges, but it's Epic, entertaining, and surprisingly original. Lots of action and engaging plot twists. Bakura's character is modelled after Jack Sparrow, so he's endearingly eccentric (if a little OOC), but don't worry—he's still the bloodthirsty psychopath we all know and love. Be warned, the story jumps around a lot—you'll get a scene or two of Ryou's POV, and then (right on a cliffhanger, oftentimes) it'll jump to Jou or Malik and you'll see what's happening on his end of the story for a while. It can be very irritating at times, but I suppose it's necessary in a story that focuses on several characters simultaneously involved in different subplots.

A Christmas Ritual by Ceresi
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi
Warnings: one-shot
Summary: The holidays can be celebrated in many ways.
>>: A sweet little fic about Yami's first Christmas.

Babylon by Edmondia Dantes
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Kaiba/Yuugi, Yami/Yuugi, slight Jounouchi/Yuugi
Warnings: one-shot
Summary: 'We always covet most those things we cannot have.'
>>: Kaiba/Yuugi really needs more love.

Complicated, or: A Dissertation on the Differences Between Past and Present Versions of the Self as Analyzed by Kaiba Seto and Set in a Yaoi Context by Neferseti !
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Seto/Seth
Warnings: one-shot
Summary: Seto wonders who should be on top.
>>: This is…interesting. And rather well written.

Hey Jealousy by L.A. Sinclair
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Atemu/Yuugi, Bakura/Ryou
Warnings: m/m, au
Summary: Yuugi and Atemu were the best of friends until Atemu hit puberty, and ended their relationship amid the confused haze of hormones and strange new feelings towards his friend. Now it's the last year of high school. Atemu's done a lot of growing up and those feelings haven't gone away, and he's starting to realize that if he doesn't patch things up between them soon he may never get another chance. Problem? Yuugi's got some new friends looking out for him, and they don't want to give him the opportunity.
>>: A slightly more realistic version of all those movies where teens overcome problems and—well, you know the ones. This has some good moments, and is oddly insightful now and then in the typical Hollywood blockbuster kind of way.

Homecomings by L.A. Sinclair
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi
Summary: Yuugi's father comes home for a couple of weeks, invoking mixed feelings in his long neglected family. Will the man who demands the world fit his idea of 'normal' be able to accept the changes that Yuugi has undergone over the last four years? And more to the point, will he be able to accept Yami?
>>: Or, what happens when your bring the other half of your soul home to meet the parents. Quite interesting.

Impossible Standards by tavi
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi, Kaiba/Jounouchi, Bakura/Ryou, others
Warnings: au, m/m, various forms of abuse, ncs
Summary: Atemu, a legend in the stock car world, goes into hiding in a small town to get away from his abusive uncle. He falls hard for his host's lovely grandson, local racing progidy Yuugi Motou, and the boy seems to return his feelings. Unfortunately, Yuugi's got problems of his own...
>>: Too muchLots of drama, sap, angst and hormones; an okay light read (if a bit crude in parts).

Possession by Edmondia Dantes !
Rating: R
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi, Yami Bakura/Ryou, Yami Malik/Malik, some Mai/Jounouchi
Warnings: m/m, probable chanslash
Summary: 'A series of first-person vignettes on life, love, and homicidal mania.' Mostly centers around the Yami/Hikari relationship, and what exactly it seems to have done to Yuugi.
>>: You can't possibly have any interest in this fandom (or at least the yaoi side of it) without taking a look at this. It's lengthy, repetitive, and absolutely addictive. If by some freak accident you haven't done so yet, read it. And then check out everything else Dia's written, because as far I've seen she's hands down the best writer in the fandom.

Razor Thin by Yami-Dagora
Rating: R
Pairing: Bakura/Ryou, Otogi/Ryou
Warnings: wip, m/m, noncon, coercion, violence
Summary: 'Suicidal and broken, Ryou huddles in a corner, dreading the return of the psychotic being who dominates and ruins his life, lacing it with pain and anguish. Yet from the ashes of Ryou's demolished soul, a small vine of love and hope grows.'
>>: This is, obviously, another of those 'Ryou's Yami is secretly abusing him' fics. Only this time Bakura isn't secretly a freaking pansy. If you're in the mood for it, it doesn't get much better than this. It's dark and angsty and violent and all those other lovely things. The writing doesn't blow my mind, but it's not too painful either.

Razor Wire Shrine by Edmondia Dantes !
Rating: R
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi
Warnings: one-shot, m/m, chanslash
Summary: What would you do if your worst nightmare was your deepest fantasy?
>>: Takes place early in the series; Yami's violent on his aibou's behalf and Yuugi's allowing himself to be seduced despite his (understandable) fear of what's happening to himself. Hot.

The Gospel According to Matthew by Angelike Riddle
Rating: R
Pairing: Bakura/Ryou
Warnings: m/m, implied noncon, one-shot
Summary: Yami Bakura is a jealous god.
>>: The writing's a bit raw, but this is a lovely little one-shot about Yami no Bakura trying to break Christian!Ryou's faith throughout his childhood. Is it wrong that I find this wildly romantic?

Wear Your Love Like Heaven by Edmondia Dantes
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi
Warnings: m/m
Summary: 'How deep is your devotion?'
>>: Angsty, intriguing and rather original; this explores what might happen if Yuugi confessed his feelings to a Yami who loved him more than life itself—but happened to be completely straight. Followed by The Path of Thorns.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rated X by Haze23
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Kaiba/Yuugi, Jounouchi/Yuugi, slight Yami/Kaiba, slight Yami/Yuugi, Kaiba/others
Warnings: m/m, m/f, chan
>>: This gets better as it goes on—the writing isn't perfect and the sex scenes are a little (lot) less tasteful than I'd prefer, but one thing I really liked about these stories was the characterization. I hate reading stories where falling in love turns a perfectly good, nasty villain into one of the White Hats. Kaiba is first presented as an immoral and ruthlessly manipulative bastard, and although he has many new experiences and undergoes all kinds of character development, his basic nature remains the same. I love that. Whatever else you might have to say about her(?) work, Haze deserves some serious brownie points for staying true to her characters.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Rated X
Summary: When it comes to lovers Kaiba's policy is to take what he wants and throw the remains out with the trash. He's recently set his sights on Yuugi Motou, a naive and rather attractive classmate who might make a good plaything. Yuugi's friends know he's bad news and try to warn him away, but Yuugi feels inexplicably drawn to the other boy and Kaiba finds himself enjoying Yuugi's company more than he'd expected. Can he find room in his heart for a real lover, or will the pattern of sex and abuse continue?
Room 708
Summary: One year after Atemu's departure Yuugi is stuggling to balance his grandfather's rapidly declining health with failing grades and the need to make ends meet. Good thing he has his boyfriend, Jounouchi, to love and support him. Since Atemu left Jounouchi's always been there for him, and Jou's thinking about taking the next step in their relationship. Cue the returning interest of Seto Kaiba. Yuugi still feels drawn towards his first love, but he refuses to betray his best friend for an old flame. Yuugi and Kaiba start secretly meeting in a hotel several times a week, just to talk and play games and enjoy each other's company. They never get intimate, so it's not cheating ... right?
Never Letting Go
Summary: Yuugi's finally fully committed himself to Jounouchi and things are going great. They're planning a marriage, Jou's finding success in the gaming industry, and there's a beautiful home waiting for them in the suburbs. Yuugi should be happy. Instead he finds himself still feeling torn between two men. Meanwhile, Kaiba's decided that if he can't have Yuugi he'll just have to take it out on Yuugi's mutt.

Definition by Edmondia Dantes !
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Kaiba/Seth (only not)
Warnings: m/m, ficlet
Summary: Seto Kaiba is fucked up.
>>: Introspective.

Mahado by Myst Shadow !
Rating: PG
Pairing: gen
Warnings: one-shot
Summary: Mahado is a magician unlike any other. (It's not his fault that others can't see the illusion.)
>>: A very interesting piece on reality, and the ways we percieve it.

Mastery of Darkness by Myst Shadow
Rating: R
Pairing: Yami/Yuugi
Warnings: crossover
Summary: Yami gets summoned to the Harry Potter universe and he and his Hikari are taken to Lord Voldemort for questioning. (Aka, things go from bad to worse.)
>>: This style of writing seems rather immature and it could use a hard betaing, but it plays with a number of interesting concepts and makes use of some fine descriptive language (as good but horribly inexperienced writers seem wont to do.)

Sundae by Edmondia Dantes
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Jounouchi/Mai
Warnings: ficlet
Summary: Of ice cream and age difference.
>>: Cute.
