Achromatic
This is victoria p.'s homepage. She's a fantastic writer, but somehow her stories are never quite my taste. She writes for a wide variety of fandoms, including HP, Supernatural, Buffy ... all kinds of stuff. She also has a nice collection of recs.

A large HP rec site. It's well organized and seems to include lots of gen.
despoiling harry
The home page of the lovely Amanuensis, sometimes hailed as the queen of non-con. Her stories tend to be dark, slashy, and wonderfully pornographic, but they come in all flavours and are generally quite brilliant. She also has a lengthy rec page, so if you're looking for well written HP slash this is one of the best places to start.
The home to fanfiction for FF7, Slayers, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Trigun, Gundam Wing, Guilty Gear, Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, and Ronin Warriors. There're also a bunch of Yoroiden Samurai Troopers images, song lyrics, drama cd translations, and more. And most importantly, theria.net is home to a series of Yami no Matsuei manga translations. They're not perfect, but compared to those absurd official ones these're gold.
Finally Fantasia
Fantasia has the best rec lists around for combos of Sephiroth, Cloud, and Zack. If you're looking for a story with such a pairing (or threesome) it's probably listed here. She also helps maintain the Cloud/Leon C2 community on fanfiction.net, keeps a D.Gray-Man rec list, and writes some nice ficcage of her own. She's good that way.

painless_j's themed lists and recs of HP fiction
Also see painless_j's Rec Journal. painless_j has rec lists (and links to other rec lists) for just about every kind of HP fanfiction imaginable. In the mood for a specific kink or pairing? Here ya go. Want a fic where Harry is living under a different name, has to deal with the effects of the abuse he recieved as a child, or secretly loves to paint? The master list is probably here. There are also recs for Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribean, Petshop of Horrors, and Jeeves and Wooster fanfiction.
Saber's fanfiction is kind of old school (at least to me). I read her stuff way back when Buffy was my only fandom and the B/A shippers were only mildly embittered. I'm not as fond of her stories as I once was, but they're definitely worth taking a look at. Saber's written for everything from Queer As Folk to One Piece, with a wide variety of subject matter and pairings.
A decently sized YnM fic archive.
The old Naughty Slayer fanfiction archive, relic of a better time when love was forever and 'happily ever after' was more than a motivating force. Lots of Buffy/Angel, of course, with a fair amount of Buffy/Angelus and a few other pairings.

The ultimate resource for Ranma fanfiction; if it exists, it's probably here. It hasn't been updated for a while, but it's well organized and wonderfully easy to navigate.

Like Yu-Gi-Oh? Hate it? Noticed the dub on TV a couple of times while channel surfing? Then the Abridged Series is for you! Each episode is cut down to four or five minutes and injected with liberal amounts of Awesome. Whether you get all of the in-jokes or not, this parody will have you killing yourself with laughter for a very long time.
